We have a dedicated team of childcare professionals – fully qualified, with a vast amount of experience of working with children with a range of needs. Our staff to child ratio is one to five.
Debbie Burch – Pre-School Manager and SENCo.
Marie Rohd-Thomsen – Pre-School Assistant Manager and SENCo.
Shiran Kurdi, Debbie Champman & Kirsten Williams (Pre-School Assistants).
All staff at Belmont Village Pre-School are qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and are First Aid trained. We continually invest heavily in the ongoing training of our staff, to make sure that they are attuned to the latest developments in childcare and teaching, ensuring your child receives a high quality of care and education.
We operate a Key Person system, which means that each member of staff has a small group of children allocated for whom they are particularly responsible. Your child’s key person will liaise with you to ensure that the pre-school meets your child’s particular needs and interests, helping them to settle in, being responsible for collating information and observations to be included in their records of achievements.
As you would expect all staff, helpers and volunteers have Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and appropriate references.
